Teens Nabbed for Central Park Robbery Spree
ABC News reports that two teens were arrested after a spree of armed robberies in Central Park late Wednesday night. Jesse Wasserman, 17, and Driton Rexhaj Alex Greene, 19, were taken into custody for a string of three robberies in which one teen would hold up a male victim at gunpoint and the other would rob the victim. All three robberies occurred near the Metropolitan Museum of Art, on the east side of the park near the 80’s. The suspects had gotten away with a bicycle, cell phones, a wallet, a backpack, glasses, and sneakers, but not before police scoured the park and nabbed them on the east side of the park near the 60’s. The gun was not recovered despite police searches in the park. Read the full story at ABC’s local affiliate.
