Posted this morning about the upcoming NYC Restaurant Week that begins next Monday.

If you can’t wait, you might be interested in the other Restaurant Week — French Restaurant Week runs from now until next next Sunday (7/15).

More than 50 restaurants are participating by offering $17.89 specials, including three on the Upper West Side.

Participating UWS restaurants include:

• Alouette (2588 Broadway, btw. 97th/98th)
• La Mirabelle (102 W. 86th, near Columbus)
• PicNic Market & Cafe (2665 Broadway, btw. 101st/102nd)

Unlike the the “normal” NYC Restaurant Week, which includes a three-course meal, the French RW offer seems to vary by place.

Alouette is offering a full three-course meal for $17.89, but at La Mirabelle and PicNic it appears that price includes just one entree (discounted relative to its normal price).
