THURSDAY: “Bark Before Dark” In Central Park With Free Pet Wellness Talk From A Veterinarian

Wednesday, September 5th, 2012

Attention dog owners — this month’s free “Bark Before Dark” event in Central Park takes place tomorrow night (Thursday, 9/6/12).

There will be a free pet wellness talk by a veterinarian, as well as light refreshments.

Bark Before Dark runs from 6:00 – 7:30 pm Thursday at Cherry Hill in Central Park (map below).

Get together with fellow dog owners and learn from Dr. Tania Goldberg of Upper East Veterinary Center how to keep your four-legged friends healthy in the big city.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet a Paws’ volunteer and learn how you and your dog can play a vital role in maintaining the Park as a dog-friendly environment — all while enjoying the Park, your neighbors and of course, your best friend.

Light refreshments will be served. This is an on-leash event.

Free. No advance registration. No groups please. Weather permitting. For more details, including information on accessibility for people with disabilities, call 212-860-1370.

Check out Paws (or their Facebook page) for scheduling changes and/or cancellations due to weather, future event locations, pictures from previous events, and volunteer sign-up.
