The 2010 New Taste of the Upper West Side, an annual celebration of some of the great Upper West Side chefs, takes place this weekend, with two days of great discussions, tastings, and receptions.  While the VIP tickets to the main event, Best of the West, are sold out, general admission tickets are still available, along with tickets to the Friday morning all-star culinary panel and the Friday evening sweet tasting, Divine Desserts.  Buy tickets now to enjoy a wide variety of the Upper West Side’s high-end foods, from the delicious chocolate of Pastry Chef Jacques Torres (Amsterdam between 73rd and 74th) to Chef John Paul Dalziel’s savory creations of Recipe (Amsterdam between 81st and 82nd).  Go to the New Taste’s website to purchase tickets.
