TMZ reported yesterday that Tiger Woods has taken refuge in the Upper West Side as the firestorm after the breaking of his cheating scandal continues.  Numerous photographers have been at the Trump International Hotel (Central Park West at 60th) around the clock since January 1st, when he reportedly checked in, hoping to catch proof that the golfer is staying there.  According to TMZ’s sources, Woods has had the gym locked down from 4:00 am to 6:00 am, and he has allegedly been seen going in and out of the hotel with a leggy blonde.  Woods also allegedly “ordered up 20 bottles of vodka and 15 cases of Red Bull to his hotel room … after two more women showed up to his room.”  Between Tiger Woods and Jon Gosselin, who is renting an apartment on 72nd and Broadway and continuing to make headlines after bringing his drama to the UWS, our neighborhood has all of the Jerry-Springer-style celebrity happenings it can handle.
