TODAY: P.S. 75 Spring Fair

Saturday, June 9th, 2012

Meant to post this yesterday, but if you haven’t noticed, I’ve been a bit MIA over the past few days due to some non-MUW stuff.

P.S. 75 is having their spring fair today.

Not only will there be the usual spring fair activities (arts and crafts, bouncy rides, DJ music, an international food court, local vendors, a rummage sale) — they’re also featuring a free health clinic and electronics recycling.

From the organizers:

This year we are adding two new components; a health fair and a green fair. The health fair will include free health screenings and practical tips for a healthier community.  Not only will children be exposed to healthy tips but our famous wellness committee will give children a hands on experience with healthy food choices and our fitness fair will keep your children healthy and active.  The green fair will educate our community on ways to be more environmentally responsible inside and outside the classroom.  Come and educate yourself about the environment and how to make your home and community greener.

Also we are having e-cycling for the Upper West Side. Brought to us by Guzu.com, bring your unwanted electronics such as cell phones, laptops, calculators and desktop computers.  When you recycle throughguzu.com, PS75 gets 10% of the material they are able to resell.

The fair runs from 12:00 – 4:00 pm today on West 95th, between West End & Riverside.
