Tomorrow: Chocolate at the Museum
Come to the American Museum of Natural History (Central Park West at 79th) tomorrow for this month’s edition of the Adventures in the Global Kitchen series. It’ll be a tasty one this time… tomorrow’s event, titled “The Lure of Chocolate,” allows you to delight in the power of chocolate with a tasting led by noted food historian Francine Segan. Learn about chocolate’s history, from its New World origins and journey to Europe to its eventual transformation from a grainy, bitter brew into the treat beloved and craved today. Tastings include single-origin chocolate, chocolate with different percentages of cacao, and milk chocolate.
