melted-chocolateCome to the American Museum of Natural History (Central Park West at 79th) tomorrow for this month’s edition of the Adventures in the Global Kitchen series.  It’ll be a tasty one this time… tomorrow’s event, titled “The Lure of Chocolate,” allows you to delight in the power of chocolate with a tasting led by noted food historian Francine Segan.  Learn about chocolate’s history, from its New World origins and journey to Europe to its eventual transformation from a grainy, bitter brew into the treat beloved and craved today. Tastings include single-origin chocolate, chocolate with different percentages of cacao, and milk chocolate.
