Beer connoisseurs are invited to come to George Keeley (Amsterdam between 83rd and 84th) for a beer tasting.  Bear Republic Brewery, located in Healdsburg, California, is bringing their brews to the city.  Reps from the brewery will be on-hand to answer questions about their beers and the brewing process.  Sample beers like their Racer X IPA, with assertive American hop bitterness and a firm malt backbone, their Big Bear Stout, with a bold, roasty, caramel malt flavor, and their Cher Ami, a Belgian-style single with a light, fruity, and slightly spicy taste.
