As part of the week-long celebration leading to the 2009 ING New York City Marathon, there will be a fun race tomorrow, the Run With Champions race.  Come to see more than 1,000 selected New York City schoolchildren race either 1/4 mile or 1 mile.  As part of the event, kids can enjoy interactive clinics with professional runners and wheelchair athletes.  Don’t forget that the big event, the 26.2-mile race through the city with over 40,000 runners, is quickly approaching, and New York Road Runners has a full schedule throughout the week of marathon-related events that take place in various places around the city.
