Tonight at the JCC: Swing Remix Dance Party
Come to the Jewish Community Center (Amsterdam at 76th) tonight for a swinging dance party. At 6:20 pm, enjoy a pre-party swing dance remix workshop, when instructor Michael Jagger will help you brush up on your skills prior to the main event. The dance party begins at 7:30 pm, with a quick beginner lesson at 7:45 pm, and the band officially kicking off at 8:30 pm. Enjoy the music, provided by fantastic bands and DJ’s, until 1:00 am, all in the JCC’s state-of-the-art theater, featuring a beautiful wooden dance floor and a giant projection screen showcasing vintage dance footage. The pre-party workshop is $20 and the dance party is $16, but you can save by purchasing both together in advance for $16 by going to the registration website.
