Transportation Committee Meeting Tonight
Community Board 7, the board that represents land use, zoning matters, and community concerns of the Upper West Side, is holding a Transportation Committee meeting tonight at 250 W 87th (near Broadway). All are welcome to come and listen or give their two cents about UWS transportation issues. In addition to issues such as parking meter use as bike racks, applications for outdoor sidewalk space use for restaurants, and applications for Winter’s Eve permits at Lincoln Square, the committee will discuss the possibilities of additional protected bike lanes in the neighborhood. Bicyclists are encouraged to come out and be a part of the decision-making process for UWS bike lanes.
