Winter’s Eve is right around the corner, scheduled for November 30th, and the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District is busy preparing for the event.  The evening will include free entertainment from street musicians to jugglers, food tastings, in-store activities and shopping around and about our fantastic neighborhood.  On top of these great festivities is a neighborhood tree lighting ceremony in Dante Park (Broadway and 63rd) featuring The View’s Joy Behar.  Yesterday, the 25-foot Balsam Fir, donated by McNulty Outdoors, was brought in and installed by the City of New York Parks & Recreation Department.  Over the next couple of weeks, the tree will be decorated by Jane Jenni with the assistance of the American Folk Art Museum so that it will be a spectacular sight come November 30th.  Click through for more photos of the tenth Annual Winter’s Eve tree installation.
