Nice story from NYT that I’ve been meaning to post for awhile.
Takeo Lee Wong is a 56-year-old Upper West Sider who has cultivated a lush garden in front of his building at 319 W. 105th (between West End & Riverside).
He’s had an ongoing battle with his landlord about it for years. In 2010 the landlord ripped it up, and now he’s threatening to do it again.

There’s a hearty discussion in NYT’s comments section about the situation, with many comments coming from people who claim to live on the same block.
Unsurprisingly, just about everyone is on Mr. Wong’s side.
