It’s  double-feature today with two productions filming on the Upper West Side.

First up is Gods Behaving Badly, featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Alicia Silverston, Edie Falco, Rosie Perez, Oliver Platt, Phylicia Rashad, Sharon Stone, John Turturro, and Christopher Walken (among others).

OLV reports that filming is taking place around Central Park West & 65th. The movie is based on a book by British author Marie Phillips. While the original story takes place in London, the film will be set in NYC. The plot, per

The adaptation of Marie Phillips’ “Gods Behaving Badly” is a comedy about a mortal couple who meet the Greek gods in modern-day New York. Christopher Walken will play Zeus, the king of the gods, while John Turturro will lord it over the underworld as Hades. The film tells the story of the Greek Gods, alive and well and living in a brownstone in New York City, as they cross paths with a young couple, Kate and Neil. The intersection of the Gods and the mortals threatens not only the couple’s budding relationship, but the future of everything else. Kate will be played by Alicia Silverstone and Neil by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

OLV also mentions that new TV drama Pan Am is filming around Columbus & 70th, as well as Riverside Park. BeforeTheTrailer specifically pegs the latter location as near Riverside Drive & 103rd.

Pan Am premiered on ABC last night. Per IMDB, it’s a “period drama about the pilots and flight attendants who once made Pan Am the most glamorous way to fly.”

The show stars Christina Ricci, Kelli Garner, Michael Mosley, and others. It’s directed by Thomas Schlamme, winner of multiple Emmy’s for his work on The West Wing (a MyUpperWest all-time favorite).
