It’s My Upper West Pet Week!  Each day this week, we will spotlight an awesome Upper West Side pet, giving them a little local fame.  Today’s pet is Fizzy, the 1 1/2-year-old French Bulldog.  Fizzy’s owner Rachel calls him the “mayor of the neighborhood.”  He will always greet you with a smile and a kiss, but careful… lean down too far, and his jump for a kiss can become a collision.  Fizzy’s owner says,

I love watching people’s faces as Fizzy passes them on the street; they always see Fizzy and then smile.  He’s a day-brightener.

Fizzy’s favorite Upper West Side spot is near his home in the West 100′s, at the 103rd Street dog run in Riverside Park.  Hang out there, and you might get the chance to have Fizzy brighten your day as he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend (pictured above).
