My Upper West Pet of the Day: Frank
It’s My Upper West Pet Week! Each day this week, we will spotlight an awesome Upper West Side pet, giving them a little local fame. We at My Upper West have a little bias towards today’s pet… Frank belongs to My Upper West founders Lauren and Torrey! Frank, a Siberian Husky/Chow mix who will be seven years old next month, was rescued from the pound in Atlanta, but definitely prefers the Upper West Side, where the smells and other dogs are abundant. He is often called a “circus dog” for his ability to do crowd-pleasing tricks, from playing dead to taking a bow to putting trash in the trash can. His happy, loving, and curious personality gives him the attention in the park that he adores… the above photo, taken when he modeled table numbers throughout Central Park for use at his owners’ wedding, is one such instance of his hammy demeanor. You can find Frank anywhere in his two favorite spots, Central Park and Riverside Park, where he jogs with his owners, rolls in the snow, or sniffs anything he can get his nose on.
