lulu-petoftheday-2lulu-petofthedayIt’s My Upper West Pet Week!  Each day this week, we will spotlight an awesome Upper West Side pet, giving them a little local fame.  Today’s pet is LuLu, a six-year-old Wheaten Terrier.  LuLu lives in the West 60′s and gets a kick out of hanging in Central Park, especially at her favorite spot, Bethesda Fountain.  As evidenced by the photo, LuLu is not the type to keep clean… this messy pooch actually ended up being the muse for her owner, who invented the PawPlunger after getting tired of carrying LuLu through her apartment to the bath after walks.  LuLu’s owner Brianne started by giving PawPlungers out to Central Park West friends, who approved of its paw-cleaning powers.  Three years later, the PawPlunger is now sold worldwide!  Brianne has LuLu to thank for her successful new business, and dog owners everywhere have LuLu to thank for cleaner floors.  Good girl!
