My Upper West tipster “Samosas for One” spotted Alan Alda last night.  The actor was walking uptown at Broadway and 65th around 10:15 pm.  Another actor spotted recently was Kevin Conway.  Conway, who has been in numerous movies and television shows and was most recently in The Good Wife, was dining outside at Bistro Cassis (Columbus between 70th and 71st), according to My Upper West tipster Nellies.

Twitterers also spotted celebrities out and about in the neighborhood this week, from Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s Richard Kind (spotted by @aviw) to married couple Frances McDormand and Joel Cohen (spotted by@Katebuford).
