Upper West Side Celebrity Sightings
Above, rapper Lil’ Jon and country singer John Rich were caught by My Upper West tipster Neil while filming the newest season of Celebrity Apprentice. The two were spotted outside the Best Buy store at Broadway and 62nd on Saturday. Thanks to Neil for the info and photo.
Also spotted in the neighborhood recently was former ‘N Syncer Joey Fatone. The singer was spotted by tipster Samosas For One leaving Lincoln Center on Monday evening accompanied by a young kid and paparazzi in tow, possibly in the area to attend the Harry Potter premiere. Samosas saw Johnny Iuzzini, the Executive Pastry Chef at Jean Georges and personality on a variety of cooking shows from Top Chef to The Martha Stewart Show, outside of Jean Georges (Broadway at 60th) that same night.
Finally, the Tower Heist filming that has been taking place in recent weeks has resulted in a flurry of sightings of the film’s stars. Tipster Jess spotted Casey Affleck on Sunday near Columbus Circle, and while she couldn’t grab a photo, she did catch another interesting sight on film, a tipped car in Columbus Circle as part of the movie’s shoot (click through for the photo). Neil also spotted Ben Stiller and Alan Alda shooting on Saturday, and tipster Susan caught Stiller again early this week. Click through for a shot of the star, courtesy of Susan.
