Upper West Side Crime Blotter: Armed Robbery & Fashion Week Theft

Police are on the hunt for an armed gunman who robbed an Upper West Side store and a fashion thief who made off with a $4,000 designer jacket.

DNAinfo’s Tuan Nguyen reports on the search for the man pictured above. He is wanted for two armed robberies, one of them occurring at Amsterdam & 86th at 9:30 pm this past Tuesday. Police say he pretended to shop before pulling out a gun and demanding cash.

He is described as being between 25 and 30-years-old, about six-foot-two tall and 200 lbs.
