Alouette, the French Bistro on Broadway & 97th, seems to be very fond of discounts. After recent deals through LivingSocial and BuyWithMe, they’re now back with a discount via OpenTable. For $25 you’ll get $50 good towards food and drink. I actually bought the LivingSocial deal last week, so maybe I’ll do a write-up of the place when I finally get around to using.

Today’s other deal comes from the JCC in Manhattan (Amsterdam & 76th), which is offering two movie tickets to any screening at the Israel Film Center. That’s a 50% discount from the normal price of $20. LivingSocial writes: “With the goal of promoting Israel’s emerging independent film industry, this theater shows a range of movies from up-and-coming Jewish writers and directors, many of which have had reel success on networks like HBO.”
