Upper West Side Filming Location: Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close
Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close, the Tom Hanks / Sandra Bullock flick due for release next year, is back in the neighborhood today. According to OnLocationVacations.com they will be filming in the vicinity of Riverside Drive & 112th until Friday. No word on the exact hours, but my (limited) experience with these things is that they tend to be all day affairs (UPDATE: Thanks to @patsfan630, who wrote into say that filming is between 6 am & 10 pm). If anyone who lives in that area has seen “No Parking” signs with specific times listed, please let me know. If you’ve got pictures of the actors, even better!
Upper West Side filming locations for this production are nothing new, as they’ve been a somewhat regular occurrence in the neighborhood since mid-May.
In addition to Hanks and Bullock, the cast includes John Goodman, James Gandolfini, Max von Sydow, and Jeffrey Wright. I have no idea who will be on-site over the next few days, but there are some big names attached to this project.
UPDATE #2: Thanks to reader Josh for making things official with the “No Parking” sign. As @patsfan630 pointed out earlier, 6 am – 10 pm until the end of the week.
