OnLocationVacations.com is reporting that Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close is filming on the Upper West Side again today. This is at least the eighth time they’ve been shooting in the neighborhood since mid-March, although it’s been a little over a month since their last foray into the area.

The Tom Hanks/Sandra Bullock flick will be filming in the area of West End & 93rd. “No Parking” signs were also spotted on Broadway, between 92nd & 94th. In addition to the two headliners, the cast includes John Goodman, James Gandolfini, Max von Sydow, and Jeffrey Wright.

My “reader challange” from May 2nd still stands — I’m looking for usable pictures of either Hanks or Bullock. What will you get in in return, you ask? Well, like the Dalai Lama said to Carl Spackler — there won’t be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness. So you’ll have that going for you, which is nice.
