Upper West Side Openings

We’ve got some more neighborhood openings to report… first, a math-specific learning center is coming to the neighborhood in a few weeks. Mathnasium, with a location on York and 84th, is moving into the old location of do-it-yourself art shop Make, at Amsterdam between 84th and 85th. Meanwhile, Make is opening a big store on 75th and Columbus. Word is that Mathnasium will open on October 1st, and no opening date has been reported for the new Make. Click through for some photos of the UWS shakeup. Thanks to Buddy for the info and photos.
In other opening news, designer fashion line Rag & Bone is coming to the neighborhood. New York Magazine reports an October opening of the store in the old location of Peter’s restaurant (Columbus at 68th) with men’s, women’s, and shoe collections for sale. Racked stopped by hoping for some progress on the space, but didn’t find any changes to the closed Peter’s storefront. We will let you know if the store meets its October timeline.
