Upper West Side Openings: Classic Kids Photography, Hummus Kitchen
Mentioned last week that Classic Kids Photography was on the verge of opening at 395 Amsterdam (corner of 79th).
MUW reader Kevin sent in the photo above today and reports they’re set to open for business on Saturday.
This will be their second NYC location — they currently have a studio on the UES. Their website shows they have other locations throughout the country.
One block north at 416 Amsterdam (corner of 80th), they’re slowly making progress at Hummus Kitchen.
News of their opening first came out back in May. On October 17th they were hoping to open in “a few more weeks.”
Here we are on December 8th and they’re still not quite there. That said, they’ve put plywood up, which is usually one of the last steps before opening. I managed to jam a camera through a small hole and catch a spy shot of the work being done inside. This was already a few days ago, so hopefully they’ve made some progress since then.
I live nearby and love me some hummus, so I am 100% ready for these guys to open.
