Upper West Side Openings
Although the area around the Trump and Extell residential developments on the far west side of the neighborhood is currently lacking in shops and restaurants, there is hope on the horizon for Riverside South dwellers. Two establishments are in the works, with possible openings soon. Wei West, a restaurant featuring “Asian cuisine,” and The Yard, a “wine bar, brunch, and pizza” eatery, are preparing to open at the corner of 68th and Freedom Place (between West End and Riverside). Judging by the current state of the spaces, it looks like the grand openings may take place soon. Click through for more current photos of Wei West and The Yard.
Did you see an opening or closing in the neighborhood? Let us know… send as much information as possible to “alerts [at] myupperwest.com,” and we might post it!
