Alec Baldwin Stops by Lincoln Center

Above, Upper West Sider Alec Baldwin heads to Lincoln Center late last week to do a commercial shoot and some interviews. Lincoln Center’s blog caught Baldwin doing an interview with the celebrity news show Extra after he did a commercial for Capital One. The star is reportedly promoting the bank’s Venture Rewards credit card, planning to donate all the proceeds from the promotion—which his spokesman said was “a few million”—to cultural charities. In addition, via its website later this spring, Capital One will match donations, up to $50,000, which customers make to Americans for the Arts, one of Baldwin’s favorite organizations. Baldwin happens to be a big supporter of the cultural offerings at Lincoln Center, serving as a radio partner and frequent Live From Lincoln Center host of the New York Philharmonic and recently donating $1 million to the Philharmonic.
