Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close took to the Upper West Side this week, setting up production on 98th between Broadway and Amsterdam, as well as the vicinity of Barney Greengrass (Amsterdam and 86th).  The movie is a major production, based on the novel by Jonathan Safran Foer and starring Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, and John Goodman.  Above, Leslie Albrecht of DNAinfo snaps a photo of the Barney Greengrass filming on Wednesday, which shut down the shop temporarily.  Click through for another photo from the shoot, this time coming from blog Southern in the City, who caught the impressive craft services spread at the uptown filming location.
