UPDATE 12/2: LeSportsac is open, but it’s only a pop-up shop… for now

The liquidation sale at the Upper West Side Betsey Johnson (248 Columbus, between 71st & 72nd) started nearly two months ago, with 20% – 50% off.

Discounts have been climbing since then, rising to 40% – 60%, 50% – 70%, and then 60% – 80%.

If you’ve been waiting until the very end to get the best possible bargain, that time is now.

The store is closing on Sunday, and the remaining inventory is up now up to 90% off.

I spoke to a rep earlier today who said they mainly have “party dresses” left, although there is some other merchandise as well.

For 90% off, it may be worth poking your head in there and see what’s lying around.
