Posted yesterday that CBS police drama Blue Bloods is filming up on the northern edge of the neighborhood.

Production crews are out in full-force today and I passed actor Donnie Wahlberg running lines out on the street about 45 minutes ago.

I was driving when I passed by the set, so unfortunately I don’t have any photos.

Production crews are stretched all along Claremont Avenue (between Broadway & Riverside) from around 120th Street up to Tiemann Place (equivalent of 127th).

I’m not sure who else is on set besides Mr. Wahlberg (whom I fondly remember as “Carwood Lipton” in HBO’s Band Of Brothers), but the show also stars Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, and Will Estes.

If celebrity sightings are your thing, I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume they’re lurking in the area as well.

I passed within about 4 feet of Mr. Wahlberg.

If it were 1990, when he was in New Kids On The Block, and I was a teenage girl, I would almost certainly have fainted (but probably would have screamed first).
