UWS Celeb Photos of the Day
Above, The Flaming Lips perform one of their signature wild shows in Central Park on Monday. The benefit show for SummerStage included plenty of what Flaming Lips fans love, from massive quantities of confetti to the now-famous plastic hamster ball that front man Wayne Coyne uses to crowd surf. In other parts of the Upper West Side recently, well-known faces have been working hard. 30 Rock star Judah Friedlander was spotted doing an interview outside of Central Park on Friday. Singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow gave a performance at Central Park’s SummerStage on a hot Friday morning for Good Morning America, needing an assistant to fan her off between songs. Maroon 5 took the Beacon Theatre stage Tuesday night for their tour kickoff, performing the show as a benefit that went live on Fuse. Click through for these celeb photos.
