If you’re a gelato fan (and whom among us isn’t?) take note of today’s deal from long-time neighborhood fixture Pappardella (316 Columbus, at 75th).

They’re offering five 2-scoop servings of gelato for $10 (normally $25).

At $2 a serving, it’s a pretty good deal compared to most gelato options in the neighborhood. It can be used over multiple visits, although there’s a limit of two servings per visit and all five must be used by 10/7/12.

Note: This deal is only good for take-out at their gelato bar (accessible from the street via a window/counter). Also, I think they’re going to collect tax on this the first time you use it (roughly 88 cents).
