UWS New-York Historical Society Named Official January 2012 “Culture Spot” By NYC; Discounted Admission Available

Mentioned a discount on membership to the newly renovated New-York Historical Society (170 Central Park West, at 77th) over the holiday break.
If you missed out on that, you now have another opportunity to see the museum/library with a discount: N-YHS has been named the January 2012 “Culture Spot” by NYCGo (the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization for NYC).
The upshot? You can get $5 off adult admission between now and January 31st.
You can check out the MUW post from 12/27 for more details on the recently completed three-year, $70 million renovation at N-YHS. In addition to the complete overhaul of the museum, a new restaurant run by top restauranteur Stephen Starr also opened last month.
As for the $5 discount — you can print the coupon here. It’s redeemable at the admissions desk.
- Monday: CLOSED (though they’re open on Mondays for some major holidays)
- Tuesday – Thursday: 10 am – 6 pm
- Friday: 10 am – 8 pm
- Saturday: 10 am – 6 pm
- Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm
