Almost 15 months to the day after it was first announced, Sugar & Plumm (Purveyors Of Yumm) finally opened for business today at 377 Amsterdam, between 78th & 79th (thanks to Kevin A. for the photo).

As I mentioned back in May, Sugar & Plumm is sort of like Serendipity crossed with Dylan’s Candy Bar crossed with Max Brenner (h/t to Eric L.)

At the moment, sugarandplumm.com takes you to a splash page announcing the new UWS location and showing its hours (7 am – 11 am Monday – Wednesday, 7 am – 12 am Thursday & Friday, 9 am – 12 am Saturday, 9 am – 11 am Sunday).

At some point I presume that will be replaced by their normal site, where you’ll be able to see menu offerings and additional details.

I’ll have more information on this tomorrow or Monday.

On a related note, apologies for the lack of posts over the past two weeks. As I previously mentioned, I was out of town for a few days. Ended up having to deal with an unexpected situation when I got back that has severely limited my time since then.

Things are starting to get back to normal, and I hope to resume the normal posting schedule over the next few days.

I’ve got a HUGE backlog of opening & closing news that people have been sending in, so next week will be chock full o’news.
