Law & Order: SVU was filming in the neighborhood on Monday and MUW reader @JamieLee74 tweeted in this photo of the action. Production crews created the fictional 16th Precinct on W. 100th, between Broadway & Amsterdam.

That building is decidedly NOT a police station when it isn’t being used for television film-shoots…

Thanks to Google Maps’ street view, the true identity of the “16th Precinct” is revealed as the Ukrainian Academy of Arts & Sciences, at 206 W. 100th.
