UWS Photo Of The Day: Storm Clouds Over The City

The forecast called for a biblical lighting storm tonight, with the possibility of tornados and hail.

Maybe other places got hit harder, but I didn’t think it was all that bad here on the Upper West Side.

I snapped this from my apartment, facing northeast around 6:40 pm.

Rain hadn’t started falling yet and the storm was still in its nascent stages (the sky got pretty dark shortly after this), but a Gozer cloud was definitely beginning to form over the neighborhood.
