dovetailIn fancy-schmancy Upper West Side restaurant news, culinary gem Dovetail (77th and Columbus) has reopened after a brief close due to renovations.  According to Eater, the new updates include a bar, a bar menu, 20 new seats in the dining room, and even a new cheese cart and Armagnac cart.  Yum.

Also tempting your taste buds this month is Bill Telepan’s Upper West Side staple Telepan (69th between Columbus and Central Park West).  Every Monday through Thursday throughout the month of November, enjoy a $39 three-course prix fixe dinner featuring seasonal menu items.  The special is available before 6:30 pm, making for a nice pre-theater meal.
