UWS SCHMUCK OF THE WEEK: The Guy Who Tried To Scale Belvedere Castle In Central Park Yesterday

Haven’t done an “UWS Schmuck Of The Week” for a while, but don’t be fooled — they’re still among us.
Meet 35-year-old Christian Lopez, a tourist from Virginia who tried to scale Central Park’s Belvedere Castle yesterday.
Unsurprisingly, his Spider-Man impression failed, causing him to fall “between 20 and 30 feet” and “mangle” his left arm.
The Post has the idiotic details and a photo of the more than one dozen NYPD/NYFD/EMS responders called to the scene.
Per The Post:
Lopez’s girlfriend, Patty Aguilar, 38, said her thrill-seeker boyfriend was trying to find a place to go rock-climbing but got lost on his way to one destination in the park.
“Somebody [then] steered him in the direction of the castle,” she said. “He’s just an adventurous person. He’s very athletic. Honestly, I think it was just an adventure. He does rock-climbing, and he’s taking courses, but [they are] for rock-climbing — not necessarily climbing a castle.”
What a schmuck…
