UWS Street and Subway Closings this Weekend

traffic_coneThe 65th Street Central Park Transverse will be closed from 12:01 am to 6:00 am Saturday, July 24th to facilitate bridge inspection.

76th between Broadway and Amsterdam will be closed Saturday, July 24th at 5:00 am through Sunday, July 25th at 9:00 pm to facilitate crane removal.

Riverside Drive between 120th and Tiemann Place will be closed Sunday, July 25th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm for the Great Day in Harlem festival.

subway1From 12:01 am Saturday, July 24th to 5:00 am Monday, July 26th, downtown 1 trains skip 86th and 79th.  For service to these stations, take a downtown 1 to 72nd and transfer to an uptown 1, and for service from these stations, take the uptown 1 to 96th and transfer to a downtown 1.  Also, from 4:00 am Saturday, July 24th to 10:00 pm Sunday, July 25th, downtown 1 trains skip 125th, 116th, 110th, and 103rd.  For service to these stations, take a downtown 1 to 96th and transfer to an uptown 1, and for service from these stations, take the uptown 1 to 137th, get a transfer ticket, and transfer to a downtown 1.

subway2From 11:30 pm Friday, July 23rd to 5:00 am Saturday, July 24th, from 11:30 pm Saturday, July 24th to 7:00 am Sunday, July 25th, and from 11:30 pm Sunday, July 25th to 5:00 am Monday, July 26th, there are no 2 trains between 96th and 149th.  For service to these stations, take the 1 train (to 137th) or transfer to a free shuttle at 137th.  Also, from 12:01 am to 6:30 am Saturday, July 24th and Sunday, July 25th and from 12:01 am to 5:00 am Monday, July 19th, downtown 2 trains skip 86th and 79th.  Refer to the 1 train changes for alternate service.

subway3From 11:30 pm Friday, July 23rd to 5:00 am Saturday, July 24th, from 11:30 pm Saturday, July 24th to 7:00 am Sunday, July 25th, and from 11:30 pm Sunday, July 25th to 5:00 am Monday, July 26th, there are no 3 trains running.  Take the 1 or 2 and a free shuttle instead.
