UWS Subway Closings: Limited 1/2/3 Overnight Service This Week Due To MTA FASTRACK

Monday, June 25th, 2012

After a month’s hiatus, the MTA’s FASTRACK maintenance program returns this week.

This time it’s affecting the 1/2/3 lines — the primary subway artery of the Upper West Side.

As a result, there are major service changes over the next four nights from 10:00 pm – 5:00 am.

Information is available at MTA.info. The quick and dirty details are this:

  • No 1-trains between 34 St-Penn Station and South Ferry
  • No 2-trains between 34 St-Penn Station and Atlantic Av-Barclays Center
  • 3-train service suspended

Again, this is only from 10:00 pm – 5:00 am, starting tonight and running through Friday morning (6/29).

MTA.info has a full list of alternative subway options. If you’re going to/from anywhere in Manhattan south of 34th Street, plan on taking the A/B/C/D and/or transferring at Columbus Circle.
