UWS Time Warner Cable Store Giving Away Free Tickets Tomorrow For Advance Screening Of “Dexter” Premiere

If you’re a Dexter fan and the October 2nd premiere of season 6 can’t come soon enough, take note: The UWS Time Warner Cable store is giving away free tickets tomorrow for an advance screening on 9/26 that will feature “a very special guest.”

Starting at 6:00 pm Thursday evening, the TWC store at Broadway & 96th will be giving away tickets on a first-come, first-served basis, until supplies run out.

I read some fine print in a press release mentioning that the first 40 people will receive a pair of tickets, so this doesn’t seem like something that’s going to be going on all night (depending on demand).

The actual screening event will take place on Monday, 9/26, at the Battery Park City Regal Cinemas (pretty close to the 1/2/3/A/C trains). UPDATE: The screening location has been changed. It will now be at Florence Gould Hall (55 E. 59th, between Park and Madison). Refreshments will be served and attendees will receive gift bags. I’m not sure about the start time, but figure sometime in the evening. UPDATE: The screening is tentatively scheduled for 8:30 pm (on 9/26).

Note: To be eligible for the free tickets tomorrow, you must be both a Time Warner Cable customer and a Showtime subscriber. You’ll have to show photo ID to verify your account.
