The Wall Street Journal occasionally does a “Walkabout” series, profiling well-known New Yorkers as they guide a journalist through a neighborhood.  The latest in the series features Kasseem Dean, better known as Swizz Beatz, the DJ and producer-extraordinaire known for hits like Beyoncé’s “Ring the Alarm” and “Upgrade U,” Busta Rhymes’ “Touch It,” and Jay-Z’s “On to the Next One.”  Accompanied by Lee Hawkins, Swizzy strolls through the Upper West Side to pick his son up from school, all while discussing his roots in the South Bronx.  Watch the full video to see him in the area around 95th and Columbus, where his star status does not go unnoticed.
