Woman Loses Thousands after Tavern on the Green Theft

tavern-auction An Upper West Side woman who bought a significant amount of items from the Tavern on the Green auction has had thousands of dollars’ worth of the items stolen, according to West Side Spirit. The woman noticed that items totaling $45,885 that she bought from Tavern on the Green and The Plaza auctions were placed on eBay, and checked her inventory to find that they were missing. She says the only person with access to her inventory was a man she hired to help her move the Tavern on the Green items she recently purchased. The woman, who owns a company on West 72nd Street, reported the theft on March 13th.
