Workshops: Responding to the Economic Downturn

stock-market-downturn The Jewish Community Center (Amsterdam at 76th) is teaming up with the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services to offer a series of educational workshops to help people respond to the economic downturn. Tonight kicks these workshops off with “Ask the Experts: Staying Savvy in a Time of Change.” You can meet a panel of experts who will discuss topics including job hunting, training, résumé writing, legal and entitlement issues, managing finances, staying organized, stress management, and talking with partners, children, and co-workers. The event is free, but advance registration is recommended, as past similar workshops have filled up.
