The FIFA World Cup 2010 is in full gear, with many feeling the soccer fever as the teams move closer to determining the brackets. If you are looking to enjoy a match over food and drink, there are plenty of spots on the Upper West Side featuring World Cup events and specials. Earlier, we told you that Pappardella (Columbus at 75th) will be featuring matches on the big screen along with soccer-themed food and drink specials. Other UWS spots for World Cup fans include George Keeley (Amsterdam at 83rd), which opens early for each of the matches; Sol y Sambra (Amsterdam at 82nd), a great spot to come and root for Spain; The Sunburnt Calf (79th near Broadway), which offers giveaways and $2 Buds and may be on the low-key side once Australia is out of the running; and Fatty Crab (Broadway at 77th), which offers specials on some of their Malaysian fare for matches during business hours.
