Gov’t Mule
Beacon Theatre, Broadway at 74th

The New Year’s tradition continues as Gov’t Mule returns to the Beacon Theatre for “2 Nights of Peace & Mule.”  Come and see Warren Haynes, Matt Abts, Danny Louis, and Jorgen Carlsson play some of their best.  Tickets are still available and are priced from $49.50 to $84.

New Year’s Eve at Bistro Ten 18
Bistro Ten 18, Amsterdam at 110th

Bistro Ten 18 is one of many restaurants offering a special prix fixe menu for the holiday.  Enjoy a four-course menu for $85 with an optional wine pairing for $45 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and ring in the new year at Bistro Ten 18 from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am with live jazz from the Eli Yamin Trio.

New Year’s Eve at The Sunburnt Calf

New Year’s Eve Prix Fixe at Dovetail

Enjoy a special four-course prix fixe menu at the acclaimed restaurant for $95 (from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm) or a six-course prix fixe menu with a champagne toast for $175 (from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm).  Optional wine pairing available.

Emerald Nuts Midnight Run
Central Park

Join New York Road Runners in Central Park to ring in the New Year in a healthy way.  The night kicks off at 10:00 pm with music and dancing, continues at 11:00 pm with a costume parade and contest, and wraps up with a midnight 4-mile run and fireworks in the park.  Fees to join the race start at $20 and go up to $55, depending on NYRR membership, status, and time of registration.

New Year’s Eve at the Empire Hotel

Ranked the best rooftop NYE party in the city, the evening features a 5-hour premium open bar from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am, hors d’oeuvres, a world-renowned DJ spinning hip hop, dance, top 40, and 80′s, a midnight champagne toast, and festive NYE party favors.  Tickets are $125 for general admission, $250-$275 for VIP, and $40 for after 12:30 admission.

New Year’s Eve Concert for Peace

The Cathedral marks the New Year with the annual New Year’s Eve Concert for Peace, a celebration of music, dance, prayer and words, to the light of thousands of candles held by everyone attending.  The spectacular evening is free for general admission and $60 for reserved seating.

New Year’s Eve at Prohibition

New Year’s Eve at Village Pourhouse

Select from three options to celebrate: a cash bar ($20 cover charge), general admission, which gives you open bar from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am for $75, or VIP, which gives you the 9:00 pm to 2:00 am open bar, plus table seating in groups of 6 with a bottle of champagne, two bottles of premium liquor, and a selection of appetizers per table for $100.
