New York Choral Society’s Summer Sings
Are you a choral singer trapped in an office worker’s body? Were you part of a chorus back in the day and miss it? Now is your chance to be a part of a great chorus for an evening! Tonight at Symphony Space (Broadway and 95th), the New York Choral Society is holding an event titled Summer Sings. As the NYCS celebrates their 49th summer, you can join in to sing Orff, Carmina Burana, a fun series of 23 songs of “defrocked, and frequently inebriated, monks.” Conductor Michael Ciavaglia will lead you as part of the chorus, and the NYCS will lend you scores. There will be an after party event for singers. So warm up those vocal chords and enjoy joining in on the chorus for the evening!
